Leadership at Every Level
Leadership development is central to the vision of SMART and to this end, all staff are provided with opportunities to develop their leadership each year. Senior leaders meet collectively (see above) and middle leaders have opportunities to work together within their areas of specialism.
All staff in the Trust and many of the students set objectives each year that are focused on improving their leadership skills. We have worked closely together to define a ‘Leadership Ladder’ which describes leadership at every level and for every member of staff.
