The school is set in a beautiful location bordering an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the children who attend are from both the local village and the surrounding areas, including Saltash.  The staff and children work exceptionally hard to achieve their very best. We are proud to be part of a school where children and staff are inspired to learn, challenged to do their best and encouraged to succeed.  Our school has recently been highly praised by Ofsted for the excellent pastoral care that we provide to all our children as well how closely we work with families and the community.  We take pride in knowing our children very well and ensure that they can succeed in all areas of the curriculum and beyond.  In our school community, we believe learning comes first and we are all committed to our school’s values: Honesty Friendship Loyalty Respect.

Looe Community Academy

Looe Community Academy is a friendly, caring school, which expects high standards of achievement, effort and behaviour from all students. We are a successful community school; and our examination results are consistently good.

We believe a student’s journey through school is as important as the formal qualifications achieved. To this end, we work through partnerships to provide students with a safe, purposeful learning environment, where good relationships and responsibility to others are nurtured. It is our belief that students should be actively involved in the life of the school and its community to encourage positive and appropriate development of their abilities, characters and personalities.
