Our Academy is situated in the historic fishing town of Looe on Cornwall’s outstanding south eastern coastline, serving the beautiful coastal and rural villages and hamlets.

About the position

We warmly welcome applications from expert teachers that can deliver Sport and PE safely and with energy and infectious enthusiasm to students of all abilities across KS3 and KS4, whether newly qualified or highly experienced.

Due to the need for supervision of changing rooms, there is a genuine occupational requirement for a female member of staff.

The Sport and PE department is staffed with subject experts and is very well resourced through our commitment to provide outstanding opportunities for learning, including well-appointed sports facilities, such as our sports hall, main hall, astro turf pitch, hard courts and extensive grassed pitches; there is also access to classrooms and IT suites.

Our Academy is part of the South East Cornwall Multi Academy Regional Trust (SMART), which provides for outstanding local career opportunities, excellent professional development opportunities and access to expert support, advice, guidance and knowledge pooling from fellow practitioners in our partner schools.
