On Tuesday 4th June a ‘Primary Masterclass’ took place for Y6 students at Liskeard School and Community College, this was run by Dr Shilling and Mrs Crawshaw (English and Drama) and was based on “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare. We were exploring the relationship between Caliban and Prospero using our voices and puppetry.

The English session challenged students to analyse Shakespeare’s language to show how he reveals Prospero and Ariel’s moods at the beginning of the play.  This was very high analysis for Y6 students!
