A group of staff from Saltash Community School have been busy making scrubs for NHS workers.

Karen Snowdon teacher as Saltash, inspired other staff members in order to form a ‘Saltash’ production team after she made her first set of scrubs at home. Karen who didn’t think she could sew previous to running up her first set says that she watched YouTube videos in order to learn, which explained things really well. She appealed for other staff members to lend a hand with cutting, ironing, sewing etc in the hope of producing a good ‘batch’, which could be sent on the NHS workers.

The team first got together to begin the producion line on Monday 20th April. As you will see from the pictures below the team are not proficient at running up; scrub tops, trousers and wash bags. Such a fantastic achievement, well done to you all.
