We are thrilled that our students have been awarded the grades that they have worked so hard for and thoroughly deserve. What has been a tremendously hard and anxious time for them has finally ended with just reward. We’d like to congratulate all our students for showing great resilience and character during their school years, especially over the last six months.

Headteacher, Alex Lingard, said, “After lots of controversy and confusion over the last couple of weeks, it is wonderful that students are being recognised for their hard work and achievements. Not being able to prove themselves in an exam was a huge disappointment for many students, but receiving the grades the school believes they would have achieved has to be the next best thing. I’d like to thank all our teachers for the detailed work that went into generating the Centre Assessed Grades. It was a long and thorough process, but it was what was required to ensure the students got what they deserved.”

The majority of students are now joining our wonderful sixth form college with others looking to do apprenticeships or begin courses at other local colleges.

Chris Knipe, Deputy Head, said, “It’s been great to see so many happy students receiving their results today. I’d like to congratulate them and extend our thanks to the parents for all their support over the years.”

Students wishing to enrol into our sixth form, can still do so. Please contact one of our sixth form team for more details.
