We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support our wonderful children. The applicant should be enthusiastic and have high expectations for children’s achievements. The successful applicant must be flexible, adaptable, be able to respond to the needs of our children and be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills. An understanding of emotional coaching and the ability to form positive relationships with children is key. They should be able to work using their own initiative and bring forward ideas as well as follow planning given to meet the child’s needs. A good level of literacy, both written and spoken, will be required for this post. This role will include running some daily, small group work to support social and emotional development and learning intervention.

Dobwalls School Nursery are looking to recruit a qualified Early Years Practitioner with an Early Years’ Qualification at Level 3 or above to join our thriving team, ideally paediatric first aid trained.  There is an opportunity for some overtime. We offer a working day of 9.00 am – 5.00 pm or 8.00 am – 3.00 pm to be agreed by mutual consent. You will be working alongside highly qualified members of a professional team in a homely and friendly environment.

The position will be based at Dobwalls School Nursery which offers before and after school care in our OWLS provision for children aged 4+.

We are looking to appoint a highly dedicated and enthusiastic person who can liaise well with children, parents and visitors to join our friendly and supportive school team. Based only 10 minutes from Liskeard, Trewidland is a good school with many outstanding features including our pastoral care for all children. This is a significant role within our school setting, and you would play a key role in ensuring that the school runs to maximum efficiency.

We are looking for someone who:

If you have good administration and communication skills and can work independently or as part of a team, we would like to hear from you.  The successful candidate will have experience as a Receptionist and have excellent IT skills.  Experience of working in a school would be an advantage.

The permanent part-time contract is for 37 hours per week term time only plus 5 INSET days, working Monday to Friday (30 mins’ unpaid lunch break).
