    Saltash Community School offers the perfect opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic subject leader to join us after Easter 2023 and to take on the management of a dedicated team of teachers within our Geography Department.  We welcome applicants with the desire and experience to develop their team and to inspire our staff and students alike.  Travel and Tourism is an exciting addition to our Yr10 curriculum offer for the next academic year and knowledge or experience in delivering this curriculum would be desirable, but is not essential.   The ability to lead and deliver the best outcomes for all is a must.

    Looe Community Academy is looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic professional for the post of School Operations Manager to fulfil a current vacancy.  The successful candidates will work alongside Senior Leaders, including the Local Governing Committee, to ensure the optimum learning environment is available for both students and staff which will in turn support the school to deliver high quality teaching and learning.  Although we are initially recruiting for a post at Looe Community Academy it is anticipated further posts will be available at SMART’s other secondary schools (in Saltash and Liskeard) in the near future.
  • SENIOR LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHING ASSISTANT

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Learning Support Teaching Assistant to work with students in mainstream education and those with complex needs in our Area Resource Centre. Ideally, the successful applicants will have had some experience of working within a school setting and of working with children with learning difficulties; however, this is not compulsory as training will be given. Flexibility with regards to hours of work can be discussed at interview.
  • IT Services Manager

    Liskeard School & Community College

    We have a vacancy to join the IT team at Liskeard School and Community College.  The role involves managing the day-to-day operation of Liskeard and Dobwalls schools’ computer networks and communications systems as part of a Trust wide IT Support team, as well as planning their longer-term development to meet each school’s educational and operational requirement within the resources allocated.

    We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support our wonderful children. The applicant should be enthusiastic and have high expectations for children's achievements. The successful applicant must be flexible, adaptable, be able to respond to the needs of our children and be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills. We believe the ability to form positive relationships with children is key. They should be able to work using their own initiative and bring forward ideas as well as follow planning given to meet the child’s needs. A good level of literacy, both written and spoken, will be required for this post. This role will include running some daily, small group work to support social and emotional development and learning intervention within a Year 5 classroom.
