Record attainment for Liskeard School GCSE students

Liskeard School Year 11 students have achieved the highest overall GCSE average attainment in recent years at the school, and we are absolutely delighted to celebrate their success!
We are so proud of the resilience, determination, good humour and sheer dedication of our amazing students. Their strong results are testament to individual excellence as well as a fabulous team spirit which drove the whole year group to success.
We are delighted with the overall results and there are also individual subjects which have achieved some of the highest GCSE results recorded in the school under current GCSE frameworks.
Headteacher Dan Wendon said, ‘I am so pleased that our Year 11 students have succeeded so resoundingly. These strong GCSE results represent a well-earned reward for their hard work as well as a precious key to unlock future opportunities. We are thriving as a school community, and I am so proud that students have achieved the best overall GCSE attainment in the last five years outside of Covid adjusted grades and the highest GCSE pass rates seen in the last three years. Well done and thank you to students, families and staff who have made this community success possible.’
These GCSE results come after highly successful A Level results earlier in the summer. We want as many young people as possible to continue to succeed at Liskeard Sixth Form. Please come into school to enrol on Thursday 28th of August 09.00-12.00 or follow this link to enrol electronically.
