Looe Community Academy Celebrates Best GCSE Results in Four Years

Looe Community Academy is celebrating the achievements of a truly wonderful Year 11 cohort who have worked hard, studied diligently and remained focused throughout the final year of their studies.
Their achievements and grades reflect the commitment, determination and effort that the overwhelming majority invested in their GCSE courses. They thoroughly deserve this success — collectively and individually, they have achieved the best set of academic results Looe Community Academy has seen in the last four years.
These students have shown immense dedication and have epitomised the academy's core values of respect, responsibility, resilience and kindness, demonstrating these qualities in the way they have worked alongside staff and supported one another throughout the past two years.
At Looe Community Academy, results come from a place where staff look beyond the data and headline figures, seeing young people with their own unique strengths, talents and aspirations, taking their next steps with confidence and purpose. Students leave well prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the next stage of their education and for adulthood.
Looe Community Academy is incredibly proud of every single student and all they have achieved.
Headteacher Paul Boyes said: "I would also like to thank the parents, carers and families who have supported our students throughout their journey. My thanks go to our dedicated staff and, most importantly, to every member of our Year 11 cohort. Together, they have contributed to a fantastic set of results and have made our academy proud."
