Premises Managers
SMART Schools Trust
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Grade G £27,711 - £29,572 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
To start: As soon as possible
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic candidates who have line management and building experience for our Premises Manager vacancies at Liskeard School & Community College and Saltash Community School. We have one full-time vacancy at each school. The successful candidates will be responsible for the upkeep of school site with responsibility for the management of compliance, supervision of works, planning of maintenance, security of buildings and grounds, and the supervision of the site team.
We are looking for candidates who have excellent planning and communication skills with the experience to help deliver an excellent service as part of a wider estates team across all of our schools.
This is a support staff role with SMART Trust, working all year including some working time within the school holidays. It comes with the benefits of generous paid annual leave, local government pension, sick pay scheme, training and development, and a welcoming and supportive working environment.
We are looking for candidates with:
- excellent building/maintenance experience
- excellent organisational skills
- excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- a desire to complete all jobs to the highest of standards
- a working knowledge of health and safety requirements
