  • Premises Manager

    Liskeard School & Community College

    Contract: Permanent

    Salary: Grade G £28,598 - £30,518 per annum

    Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

    To start: As soon as possible

    We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Premises Manager who has line management and building experience to lead our dedicated premises team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of school site with responsibility for the management of compliance, supervision of works, planning of maintenance, security of buildings and grounds, and the supervision of the site team.

    We are looking for a candidate who has excellent planning and communication skills with the experience to help deliver an excellent service as part of a wider estates team across all of our schools. 

    This is a support staff role with SMART Trust with working hours during term-time and the school holidays. It comes with the benefits of generous paid annual leave, local government pension, training and development, and a welcoming and supportive working environment.

    We are looking for a candidate with:

    • excellent building/maintenance experience
    • excellent organisational skills
    • excellent interpersonal/communication skills
    • a desire to complete all jobs to the highest of standards
    • a working knowledge of health and safety requirements
