  • Science Technician

    Saltash Community School

    Contract:  Permanent

    Salary:  Grade E £25,185 (pro rata)

    Actual Salary:  £22,000

    Hours:  37 hours per week, term time only plus 7 days plus 3 Inset days

    Closing date: 9th January 2026

    Interviews will take place week commencing 12th January 2026

    We are seeking to appoint a methodical and organised individual who can support our excellent Science team. You will be able to organise the provision of practical support for the teachers and students at all key stages and to assist the head of department in securing an environment in which students can safely pursue investigative practical work.

    Saltash Community School is a co-educational 11-18 school of over 1200 students including a successful sixth form and incorporating an Area Resource Base; a specialised environment for children with severe and complex learning needs. Saltash is a friendly, caring, supportive and ambitious school with people and relationships at its heart.
