    MPS/UPS – Permanent – Full-Time TLR2B (£5,868)

    To start: September 2026

    We are looking to appoint a passionate, skilled teacher and leader as Head of Music to lead a thriving music department across Key Stages. The music department sits within a Creative Arts Faculty consisting of art, photography, music, and drama. The faculty is supported by two technicians, with one being dedicated to music and performance. The department benefits from purpose-built facilities with two main teaching rooms and nine smaller practice rooms.

    Music and Drama are proud of their collaborative work which includes an annual whole school production, concerts and a range of extracurricular clubs and ensembles. Music is prized in the school and forms a key part of our strategic engagement with the community. The successful candidate would seek to offer their skills and expertise in these areas.  

    Candidates who do not yet have the experience to apply for a leadership role but have the ambition and aspiration to lead in future are welcome to apply.
