  • Lunchtime Assistant

    Dobwalls Community Primary

    Contract: Permanent

    Salary: Grade B, £24,520 per annum pro rata (pay award pending)

    Actual salary: approx. £6,262 per annum

    Hours: 11.25 hours per week, term time only plus 1 inset day           

    To start: 1st September 2026

    We are seeking a Lunchtime Assistant to support our wonderful children. If you are enthusiastic and have high expectations for children's achievements, we would love to hear from you. The successful applicant must be flexible, adaptable, able to respond to the needs of our children and an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and dedication. We believe the ability to form positive relationships with children is key.

    Duties will include supervision of pupils both on the school playground and in the dining hall. Applicants should be enthusiastic, flexible, adaptable, be able to respond to the needs of the child and be an excellent team player with good interpersonal skills. They should be able to work using their own initiative. Experience of working with additional needs is desirable.
